Kay was a stay at home mom who raised her family and supported her husband’s contracting business. She was a member of the Stannards United Methodist Church and the Senior Center. She enjoyed playing euchre in the many Senior Center Tournaments and was playing euchre up to two weeks ago. Kay enjoyed gardening and will be remembered for her cooking and baking.
Kay is survived by 2 sons, Gerald ”Jerry” (Peg) Peet of Wellsville and James (Dalaine) Peet of Wellsville; a daughter, Linda (James) Karns of Wellsville; 9 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Kay was also predeceased by her parents, her son John Peet and her 11 brothers and sisters.
Keeping with Kay’s wishes there will be a private family graveside service in Stannards Cemetery with Kathy Timpano presiding. Memorial wishes in Kay’s name may be made to either the Stannards United Methodist Church or to The American Cancer Society or to the Donor’s choice.
