Wellsville, NY - Charles J. White, age 88, of the Brandes Road passed away on Sunday, August 14, at the Highland Health Care Center. He was born on November 21, 1927 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Shirley Egin and Madline Fisher White.
Charles graduated from Wellsville High School and was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving from 1945 until 1946. He was a driller for Otis Eastern and drilled water wells with Louie Jackson. He was a life member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars both of Wellsville.
Charles is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his longtime companion, Ruth Fanton; 2 sisters, Betty Palmitter and Molly Parson; a brother, Dean Egen White.
