Wellsville - Scott E. Stephens, formerly of Webster died at the Wellsville Manor on Monday March 16, 2009. He was born September 17, 1958 in Rochester to Clarence and Carmen Scott Stephens. On December 24, 1983 in Friendship he married Sandra Schoonover who survives.
Scott graduated from R. L. Thomas High School in Webster in 1976. He was employed at CVC products in Gates before relocating to Saranac Lake where he worked for McComber Electric. Scott then resided for some years in Friendship working in the area as a logger.
Surviving besides his wife Sandy of Friendship; 3 sons, Scott Stephens Jr., Sean Stephens and Sam Stephens all of Friendship: His parents of Wellsville: 1 sister, Virginia[David]Kondroski of Englewood, FL.,: 3 brothers, Gregory[Linda]Stephens of Margate, FL., Todd[Patricia]Stephens of Henrietta and Matthew Stephens of Sarasota, FL. as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday March 27 at 6 pm in the J. W. Embser Sons F.H. at 34 West State street Wellsville, NY. Jim Dias an Elder with the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses will preside at the service. The family acknowledges with gratitude caregivers of the Wellsville Manor Care Center, Hospice of Wellsville; Monroe Community Hospital of Rochester; Sweden Valley Nursing Home of Coudersport, PA. and TBI/ ARC of Wellsville. Time will never lessen our great appreciation for the love shown. In lieu of Flowers, ones who wish to may plant forget-me-not flowers in Scott’s memory.
