Wellsville, NY - David L. Gena, 61, of 4278 Bolivar Road died unexpectedly on March 27, 2009 at home. He was born on May 23, 1947 in Wellsville the son of the late William and Gwynneth (Anderson) Gena.
Dave was a 1966 graduate of Wellsville High School. He was formerly employed at Scoville-Brown & Company in Wellsville and for the Village of Wellsville, Department of Public Works. He was a member of the Wellsville Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a brother, John (Pam) Gena of Wellsville and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Gena on April 7, 2007.
A memorial service, under the direction of the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial suggestions include the David A. Howe Public Library or any charity of the donor’s choice.
