Wellsville, NY - Charles E. Booth, age 77, of Howard Street passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the Wellsville Manor Care Center. He was born on August 19, 1939 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Jess and Mabel Grabigel Booth.
Chuck was a machinist while serving in the U. S. Navy. He settled in California and worked as a machinist for Richard Maddock who he followed to Wellsville. Chuck eventually became the owner of the shop and worked for himself on the Hawks Road. He was a caring and loving gentleman who cared deeply for his family and friends. Chuck enjoyed bowling, fishing and golfing at Serenity Hills Golf Course in Friendship.
Chuck is survived by a son, Charles Booth Jr. of Springhill, FL.; a brother, Robert Booth of Shelocta, PA.; 2 sisters, Val Jean Koskie of Monroe and JoAnne Shuster of Tucson, AZ.; several nieces and nephews.
Chuck was predeceased by his wife Sandra, his parents, and a brother Richard Colin.
