Lana L. Phillips

Belmont, NY - Lana L. Phillips, 67, of 13 Schuyler Street, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Wellsville Manor Care Center following a long illness. She was born April 16, 1948 in Corning, the daughter of Donald G. Bortle and Mabel Lane. On September 24, 1988 in Belmont she married Theodore F. “Ted” Phillips who predeceased her on December 16, 2013.

Lana was raised in Addison. She was formerly employed and enjoyed her work as a home healthcare aide, she also enjoyed crocheting, crafts and the church services at Wellsville Manor. She is survived by her mother, Mabel Partridge of Addison, two sons, Denny (Maureen) Burdick of Penfield and Timothy Burdick of Norfolk, VA, a daughter, Michelle R. Burdick of Belmont, two granddaughters, Clare and Shannon Burdick, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and stepfather, Harold Partridge

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., 34 W. State Street, in Wellsville. The funeral will follow visitation at 5:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Richard Helms presiding.     So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I knew when I was a little girl. Actually Tim used to babysit my sister and I when our mother's went out together. I then had the pleasure of working with her when I did the home health care. She was a very wonderful woman. I know she is greatly missed.
