Wellsville, NY - Mary Jane Dodson, age 76, of 160 Seneca Street passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Wellsville Highland Health Care Center. She was born on January 4, 1940 at home in Friendship to Leroy L. and Beatrice Irene Leal Dodson.
Mary Jane had attended school in Richburg and Wellsville who had resided in Oswego and Wellsville. Mary Jane was a former employee of ARC in both Fulton and Wellsville who loved music, singing and crocheting.
Mary Jane is survived by her sister Lynnet D. Witherell of Wellsville and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Jane was predeceased by her parents and a sister Phyllis Irene Piraino.
There will be no prior visitation or services and burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery in Friendship. Memorials in Mary Jane’s name may be made to the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps or to the David A. Howe Library or to the Dyke Street Museum.
