Scio, NY - Dawn A. White, 58, of 5932 Fish Road passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at home with her family at her side. She was born June 20, 1956 in Cuba, the daughter of the late Dan and Anna Mae (Coyle) Hughes.
Dawn was a foster mother and care giver to a number of children and adults for many years. She was a member of the Morrison Hayes Post 702 American Legion Auxiliary and the Legion Riders.
She is survived by her husband, Frank White, two daughters, Tracy (Randy) Beckman and Chrissy White, one son, Frank White II, a stepson, Sam Wood, three grandchildren, Marc, Hunter and Frank III, five sisters, Linda Jones, Debbie Dees, Cherly (Jon) Elliott, Raina (Tony) Windus and Wendy (Scott) Harris, two brothers, George (Becky) Webster and Robert Webster, a brother-in-law, Russ White, two sisters-in-law, Lois Wagner and Roxanne (Roger) Friend, her maternal grandmother, Rose Brown, one aunt, Joyce (Dave) Reynolds and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased in addition to her parents by her beloved stepfather, Donald Webster, two brothers, Danny Webster and Dave Johnson, one sister, Robin Smith and one uncle, Steve Hughes.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 21st from 10:00 am to 12 noon and 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville. The funeral will follow visitation on Tuesday at 4:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Carl Kemp presiding. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. ReplyDeleteDawn was an angel on earth and has been called homw. Every day and in every way she showed us the meaning of unconditional and unlimited love. We well missed her a lot but know she is in a better place and is at peacr. Bruce & Amy

I only had the honor to talk with Dawn on the telephone.. however even with this I felt blessed to have known her.. she was an amazing person and I know her family will miss her greatly.
