Roger C. Brewer Sr.

Belmont, NY - Roger C. Brewer Sr., 63, of 37 Schuyler Street died on Friday, March 23, 2012 shortly after arrival at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. He was born June 13, 1948 in Baldwin, Maryland the son of Edward Lee and Encille (Blevins) Brewer. On November 11, 1978 in Havre de Grace, MD., he married Agnes Clendenin who survives.

Roger was raised in Bel Air, MD. He was employed as a master heating technician at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds for 27 years, retiring in 2008. He had formerly resided in Colora, MD. and was an active member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Hickory, MD. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He moved to Belmont in November of 2011 and became a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Wayne (Erica) Keene of Lancaster, PA., Roger (Betty) Brewer Jr. of Colora, MD., and Brian (Shannon) Clendenin of Belmont, one daughter, Annette (Patrick) Santoro of Robesonia, PA., 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Shirley Evans of Bristol, VA., one brother, Colonel Joe Brewer of Edgewood, MD., as well as several nieces & nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 29th from noon to 2:00 pm at the Gospel Fellowship Church in Belmont. The funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 pm in church with Pastor Patrick Lyons presiding. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Belmont.
