Susie was raised in Millport and attended Shinglehouse High School. She and Bob were active in the Wellsville community as she was a former member of the Wellsville Volunteer Fire Department, Auxiliary, the VFW Post 2530 Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 702. She also enjoyed playing euchre at the Wellsville Senior Citizens Center, and dancing at the VFW.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Sue Greenan, and her husband, Phillip C. Young of Rochester, a son, Randall S. (Kerri) Allen of Petrolia, 11 Grandchildren, Shawn Allen, Jason Allen, Joseph Allen, Bradley Payne, Todd Payne, Corie Leigh Fowler, Crystal Kammer Walton, Tony Kammer, Jamie Greenan, Jessica Greenan, and Joseph Greenan, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandbabies, a sister, Elizabeth Wilson of Charlotte, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased in addition to her parents and husband by a son, Jonathan Allen, a daughter, Christine Payne, and a sister, Joanne Guinnip.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc, 34 W. State Street in Wellsville. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. The burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A gathering will follow the burial, at Island Park.
