Belmont, NY - Wesley L. Cline, 80, of 5494 State Route 19 N passed away at home on Monday, June 4, 2018 with his family at his side. He was born September 18, 1937 in Cuba, the son of the late Victor G. and Gertrude (Gross) Cline.
Wes was a graduate of Belmont High School, and served with U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He was a Auctioneer in the Belmont area for most of his life. He was a member of the Belmont Lodge 474 & Boliver-Macedonia Lodge 258 F & AM for over 50 years, the Ismailia Temple in Buffalo, the Morrison Hayes Post 808 American Legion in Belmont, and was a life member of the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by three sons: Dana W. (Michele) Cline of Fort Myers, Florida; Jason V. (Tajma) Cline of Victor, New York; and Aaron W. (Charity) Cline of Belmont; 10 grandchildren: Alexis Cline. Joshua Cline, Kaleb Cline, Nicholas Cline, Emma Chilson-Cline, Christopher Chilson-Cline, Jacob Chilson-Cline, Amar Atwood, Brandon Cline, and Devin Cline.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, June 8, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., 17 Schuyler Street in Belmont. Aaron and family, so sorry to hear about dad. I always liked your dad he was a hoot sometimes. He was always kind to me and made me laugh about old times That's what memories are for, so you can go back and remember and laugh and tell the stories over and over.
