Wellsville, NY - Linda Lee Hunt, 76, of 152 Pine Street, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 11, 1941 in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Harold and Rose (Brownell) Hunt.
Linda attended Wellsville High School and was employed by the Texas Hot in Wellsville and Mitchell’s Tavern in Tonawanda, NY. She was a member of the VFW Post 2530 Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose Chapter 248.
Linda is survived by three sons, Harold (Ann) Dunn of Belmont, Clarence (Paula) Dunn of Cameron, NY, and William J. Elliott of Wellsville, two daughters, Robin (Rick) Nicoles of Jacksonville, TX, and Cindy (Brian) Ordway of McGregor, TX, 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, three sisters, Beverly Clark of Inverness, FL, Norma Dennis, and Sandra Jackson both of Wellsville, several nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends at Gardner Heights. She was predeceased in addition to her parents by two brothers, Lester Hunt and Harold Hunt Jr.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Please consider memorial donations to any charity of the donor’s choice.
