Wellsville, NY - Robert W. Long, 85, formerly of 3895 Fords Brook Road died on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Wellsville Manor Care Center. He was born July 30, 1925 in Newfield, NY, the son of Parshall and Lulu Belle (Reynolds) Long. On June 3, 1944 in Elmira he married Geraldine Wolfe who survives.
Robert formerly resided in Elmira and Horseheads before moving to Wellsville in 1991. He was formerly employed for many years at Hilliard Corporation in Elmira.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Sharon (Frank) Becz of Florida, NY, one son, Richard (Mary Anne) Long of Rochester, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, three sisters, Joan Malek of Florida, Sally Kopicki of Webster and Leola West of Big Flats, several nieces & nephews and a good friend, Iris Bahamonde of Wellsville.
