Wellsville, NY - Joyce Marie Christina Curtis-Waldon of Valencia Avenue passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the Wellsville Manor Care Center. She was born on April 7, 1941 in Wellsville to William and Anna Mary Curtis. On October 21, 1967 in Wellsville she married Reginald Waldon who survives.
Joyce loved spending time with her family. She was a die hard Buffalo Bills Fan and loved Elvis and the Beatles. Joyce always enjoyed wildlife, particularly bird watching and was always happy with a piece of chocolate cake.
Survivors include: her husband, Reginald Sr.; a daughter, Beth McConkey (Mike Sili) of Indiana; 2 sons, Reginald Waldon Jr. (Cassandra Scott) of Whitesville and William Waldon (Rochelle Busby) of Almond; 2 sisters, Martha Burton of Wellsville and Dorothy Bliss of Olean; 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Nathan, Amanda, Anna, Walker, Hayden and Jackson; a great granddaughter Ariella.
There will be no prior visitation and a private service will take place at the convenience of the family with Monsignor Vincent Becker presiding. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
