  1. Dave (and Sandy) have been lifelong friends with us. I have so many special memories from our Scio High School days. Dave was a very good basketball and soccer player. We shared our love for hunting and the times we spent together were special. Dave was gifted with extra ordinary common sense and clearly “spoke his mind”. Dave was a very good man with high principals and he was a great mentor to his family. He did many acts of kindness for people who needed a helping hand. He was very close to my brother-in-law, Don King who nicknamed him “Big Fella”. We loved Dave and he leaves permanent tracks in the sands of Allegany County. We express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Walsh Family. Sid and Sandy Cleveland, Ithaca, NY

  2. Very sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace and be forever healed. Prayers to the family, may you all find comfort in one another. I will certainly miss our playful banter and his many stories of "better times", and that crooked smile with a wink of his eye.

    Sorry for your loss.

  3. To Sandra and Scott, another Dresser-Rand brother has earned his forever reward. Very saddened to read about David's passing. Will always remember his presence on the shop floor. He was dedicated to his work and co-workers and always willing to help others. His voice was commanding in the helpful way! Our sincere condolences to all at this sad time. Rest in peace my friend. May God bless you all and may the Lord bring peace to your hearts.
