  8. A eulogy for my dear Cousin Joan Ball.

I just wanted to add to the memories shared here by telling you some of mine.

Joan lived next door to my best friend Bob Cowles. I remember us playing many times growing up.

Mine and Joan's families grew up Lutheran and attended every Sunday. I remember Joan and Janet all dressed nicely each service.

We built forts with hay bales in grandpa's barn and played softball with Grandma in the field next to their home.

Joan and Bob and I went to the Wellsville school, upstairs in the firewall and the Heater for music.

Joan laughed when I picked on her but gave it right back, in spades. Probably the red hair.

She loved her friends like family and her family like friends. Her spirit will be sorely and sadly missed.

Life is like a vapor. It is so short.

We will all laugh and smile and cry and weep.
Remember though, tears are a language GOD understands when our hearts can't put words to our sorrow.

God sent Joan as a blessing to our world for 66 years. Now, he needs her spirit to return to His Kingdom. She will be working with the King, face to face.

We all cried for her, in our sorrow, "Come back, Joan. Come back!!!"
Uncle Howard and all her family and loved ones that have passed before her cried, in their joy "Joan is coming. She's finally coming!!!"

    I will end by saying...
    Thank-you, Joan.
We will forever love you and miss you.
    Enjoy your new adventure.
Goodbye, dear friend. WE are coming soon.
