When I got older I had the privilege to be and elf for him when he played Santa for Preheaters holiday for the kids at the movie theater, bowling alley, and skating rink. he was a staple at the mini mart every morning to get his paper. My condolence to Ruth and family Bill was an amazing man and friend. He will be missed by me but also our little town of Scio.

  8. Sincere condolences to the entire family. What a blessing Bill was for so many people. He had the rare ability to make you feel good just by his positive personality. He dedicated his life to service whether it was youth sports, umpiring, being Santa or any of his other ventures. He touched more people than one can imagine. I always appreciated his support and more importantly his friendship. The greatest gift that Bill leaves us might be that whenever you hear his name it makes you smile. That is pretty powerful when you can live that type of life.

    God Bless
