Wellsville, NY - Dolores E. Ryan, age 77, of Hanover Hill Road passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Jones Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 10, 1936 in the Bronx, NY. who on September 17, 1955 in Brooklyn married Richard J. Ryan who predeceased her on April 28, 2010.
Dolores was a former resident of the Bronx who moved to Wellsville in 1973 with her family where they owned General Roofing. Dolores worked in the family business as the secretary until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed staying home where she raised her children and later her grandchildren.
Dolores is survived by a son Ion( Elaine Burns) Ryan of Wellsville; 3 granddaughters, Cheyanne Ryan of Wellsville, Courtney Ryan of Wellsville and Rebecca Sanchez of Chicago, Il.; a grandson Richard Pierce of Wellsville; a great grandson as well as several sister in laws including Kathie Gordiner of Wellsville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dolores was predeceased by a daughter, Yvonne Pierce, her parents and a brother Vincent Catracala.
