Wellsville, NY - Samuel Wooley Jr. of the Stannards Road passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Bath Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on December 28, 1958 to Samuel and Joyce Brown Wooley. On August 25, 2001 he married Denise Heath who survives him.
Samuel was a long time resident of Hammond, Indiana who was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1978 to 1980. He moved to Wellsville in 2004 and worked at Northern Lights Candle Factory until he retired due ill health.
Surviving besides his wife Denise: a son, Samuel Wooley III: two daughters, Shari Jackson and Tiearra Wooley; a brother, Gregory Wooley: three sisters, Joyce Ann Willson, Sandra Johnson and Linda Wooley: several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held by the family in Hammond, Indiana and memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville. To leave online condolences please visit www.embserfuneralhome.com.

I didn't know Sam very well at all. We met and became Facebook friends because of Denise. We had a few conversations on the chat, mostly about Zinga Poker :) I did get the chance to finally meet my Poker buddy during an unfortunate circumstance, Denise's sister Barb's Funeral. His health at that time was not good but he still came with Denise to support her during her time of greiving. Like I said before, I didn't know Sam very well, but it was obvious to me that he loved his family. Faith, Family and Friends..that's what it's all about. RIP Sam, you'll be missed
