Frank T. Barnhart

Keystone Heights, FL - Frank T. Barnhart, 65, passed away on September 2, 2011 at the Jacksonville Hospice Center. He was born December 13, 1945 in Wellsville the son of the late Raymond and Mary Grace (Radcliff) Barnhart.

Frank was a veteran of the U. S. Army from 1964 to 1968 and had served in Vietnam. He was a former long time resident on Greenwood. He moved to Sanford in the early 1980's where he was employed as painting contractor for over 20 years. He returned to New York and resided in Scio from 2007 until March of this year, when he moved to Keystone Heights, FL to live with his son Edward.

He is survived by three sons, Frank Barnhart Jr. and Raymond Dennis both of Wellsville, and Edward Barnhart of Keystone Heights, FL, three daughters, Connie Webster of Ovid, Kelly Madison of Wellsville and Skie Barnhart of Jacksonville, FL, one brother, Paul Barnhart of Wellsville, as well as eight grandchildren, one niece, one great nephew and several cousins. He was predeceased in addition to his parents, by a sister, Ruth "Bonnie" Miller in 2003.

The American Legion Post 702 will honor Frank's military service on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Colony Park Community Room, 95 Johnson Street in Wellsville. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Dick Helms presiding. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Greenwood Ambulance Squad.
