Kevin was a long-time resident of Belmont who graduated from Belmont Central High School. He worked for Jack Winterhalter at Laidlaw’s and helped on Jack’s farm. Kevin later went to work for the Village of Belmont as the sewer plant operator. In his younger years he spent a great deal of time on Amity Lake. He loved to fish there and worked with his Dad on many projects for Cliff Button. He was a long time active member of the Belmont Fire Department, and was a social member of the Belmont American Legion Post 808 where he could be found cooking chicken BBQs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and took several out-of-state hunting trips. Kevin will be remembered for his love of his grand and great-grandchildren.
