Anna found her career with the United States Postal Service and was employed for 25 years. Outside of work she was a member of the Genesee United Methodist Church (for over 70 years), where she sang with the choir, in addition to singing for weddings and funerals. She was a Genesee Town Historian, and a member of the Potter County Historical Society.
She is survived by: sons, Harold (Barb) Kiel of Genesee and William (Cindy) Kiel of Galeton; granddaughter Cher Kiel of Olean; great-grandchildren, Jarod Kiel, Leah Kiel, and Noah Kiel, all of Olean; sister-in-law Mary French of Genesee; as well as several stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by: a brother, William French; and a nephew, Shaun French.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4 to 6 pm at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home of Wellsville, 34 West State Street. Her funeral will follow, in the funeral home, at 6 pm. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery of Kinney, PA.
