ReplyDeleteDear Karen and family
ReplyDeleteI am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you find peace in the founds memories of the time you spent with Carolyn.
I went to school at Elkland with Carolyn; she was one of my best friends. We had the best times cutting out pictures of flowers and pasting them in a scrap book while making up all sorts of stories about what they were trying to tell us. One time at a school reunion, she reminded me of a time when I got grounded which I had completely forgotten about. The other thing we did was take walks out back on the farm and look at the live flowers. When they moved to Osceola, she was my closest neighbor so we spent time together. She and her mother introduced my family to spaghetti by teaching me how to make spaghetti sauce; they made the best ever! She was a lovely person with a deep love of life in her heart. I feel privileged to have had her in my life throughout school. May you all find Peace in her passing.
