  2. To Newell's Family

Newell was intoduced to me once by my Dad Neil that also worked at Worthington (now Dresser). Dad had a common outside interest in cars and I have ever since I can recall. I recall Newell's hot rod VW bug and a blue Street Rod. They both influenced me for different reasons, but he was just a nice guy that enjoyed sharing what he had created. I am sorry to hear of Newell's passing. Maybe he an Dad can go to a car show together now.

  3. Newell and Helen Potter took me into their home for two years in 1973 while I went to college there in town. Many good memories. Mrs. Potter taught me to crochet which I still do to this day. Mr. Potter and my boyfriend, Tom, tinkered together in the Potter's garage which was great for Tom as his dad was disabled and couldn't do that type of thing. They were the nicest people. I'll never forget them. God Bless them and their family.
