Marian Teresa "Tess" Tullar

WELLSVILLE - Marian Teresa "Tess" Tullar, 84, of 497 North Main St., passed away in her home on Thursday, (Nov. 7, 2013).

Teresa was born May 14, 1929, in Belmont, NY., the daughter of Leo and Marian Jadwin Hunt. In August 1949 she married Bayard C. Tullar who pre-deceased her in January, 1990.

She had resided in Wellsville for the past nine years having previously lived in Green Valley AZ. where she and her husband Bayard had retired to in 1980.

Teresa was a graduate of Belmont High School Class of 1947 and attended D'Youville College in Buffalo, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Wellsville.

Teresa was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family.  A special thanks is extended to the superb group of caregivers who lovingly attended to Mrs. Tullar's needs over the past eight years.

Surviving are sons Bayard C. Tullar IV of Alma, Thomas E. (Rhonda) Tullar of Rogue River, OR; daughters, Gwynneth T. (Richard) Shear of Wellsville, Patricia Tullar and Tamara Tullar both of Rogue River, OR.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Katie, Caleb,Teresa, Angie, Jake, Paige, Jennifer, Tiffany, and April, as well as great-grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by her husband in 1990, a brother, Donald Hunt of Belmont, NY, a grandson, Bayard C. Tullar IV, and an infant grand-daughter, Jennifer Tullar.

There will be no visitation.  A private family service celebrating her life is planned for a later date. Burial will be at the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville..
