My deepest condolences to Mr. Smith’s family. He will always be Mr. Smith to me. I have so many fond memories of him, first as my 7th grade homeroom teacher. What a transition from Mrs. Mabon’s 6th grade to 7th grade with Mr. Smith! We were so intimidated, but respected him greatly. Of course there was history class with him and the riveting driver’s education class! There was 7th and 8th grade basketball games. The list goes on and on. One only needs to gather some Andes Central School alumni together and we all have Mr. Smith stories to tell! So deeply sorry for your loss. He was a great man!
ReplyDeleteMy sincere condolences to the Smith family in their loss. I, too, am an alumnus of ACS, Class of 64, and had Mr Smith for Driver Education. ACS employed a great faculty and Mr Smith was no exception. We are grateful for his long standing tenure and great teaching method.
