Belmont, NY - Mark A. Wells, 46, of 5293 Corbin Hill Road died at home on Thursday, June 17, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born August 8, 1963 in Wellsville the son of Norman and Mary Jane (Empson) Wells Jr. He was a life long resident of the Belmont area and a graduate of Belmont Central School. He had attended New Horizons in Wellsville for several years and the Belmont First Baptist Church.
Mark is survived by his mother of Belmont, four sisters, Cheryl Scott of Friendship, Karen (Don) Beckwith of Angelica, Kathy (Jim) Miller of Hornell and Karol (Jay) Palmer of Hammondsport, three brothers, Marvin Wells of Scio, Martin Wells of Belfast and Jerry (Janice) Wells of Belmont, several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father Norman Wells Jr. on January 13, 1998.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. 17 Schuyler Street in Belmont. The funeral will follow visitation on Sunday at 3:00 pm. in the funeral home with Pastor Byron Brooks presiding. Burial will be in Oramel Cemetery.
