Your Mom and Dad are simply two of the finest people I have ever known. Great fun and always with the good advice. Their long time friendship with my Mom and Dad and the times they spent at our lake cottage, or fishing, are forever engrained in my memory. You mom was the one to cut the tail off my shirt when I soloed at the old airport on Bolivar road in the late 60's (and it was a good shirt too). I loved them both. I'm sorry for your loss. They were great friends of my grandparent's, Ruth & Paul McQueen. Mote used to fly us to larger airports when my dad traveled for Worthington (now Dresser-Rand). I'll never forget an elementary field trip to the airport. I'd been there many times and even helped "steer" during a flight or two. Anyway, both Mote & Dot were there that day and as soon as I saw them, I went tearing across the tarmac into their arms. <br />They were both wonderful people and the community of Wellsville will miss them terribly.Tammy McQueen Kokotnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004849103283449688.post-11491513019163812752011-05-23T17:17:02.402-04:002011-05-23T17:17:02.402-04:00Mote and Dot were two of the most amazing people I...Mote and Dot were two of the most amazing people I have ever met. They treated me like one of their own. They are both very much missed and I will always be thankful for knowing them. They were wonderful people and were always looking out for others. Truly they were a team in every way! I am sorry for those who are suffering the loss here but glad Mote and Dot are reunited. Your family is in my prayers. -Melanie-Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
