  3. Mike and Kim - I'm so sorry for your loss. I know words can't express the heartbreak I feel for you and the loss that you will feel the rest of your lives. Please know that time will help but the pain of this loss never goes away. I wish I could give you folks a hug long distance but know you will be in my thoughts and prayers throughout the coming days and months. I know we talked about your son going into the military and how nervous you were. My son was a Marine killed in 2008 in Iraq. I understand the loss of a son and my heart is breaking for the both of you. Maybe the next time I visit my dad at the nursing home we can talk or at least I can give you that hug in person.

  7. I am so sorry... I experienced my own tragedy a number of years ago and I understand what you are going through... so sorry for the road ahead of you... Know that you will never heal, but Jonathan's loss will become part of who you are and you will see light. Be patient with yourself for this wound will take a very long time to become a scar. Rest in peace, Jonathan.
