  2. May my grandmother rest in peace, having reunited with my grandfather and son with whom she shared her life; and may her life be celebrated by those most dear. May the wounds of my father, and my father's father, now reconcile in peaceful rememberance of the life she lived. I would love to have known her more intimately, for she was my grandmother, but I thank her for teaching me the lessons of her life. I thank her for the blessing of the man she raised in my father, and the part of me, that is part of him, which is part of her legacy eternally. Go to Grandpa and Mike, and smile brightly, Grandma, for they are awaiting you; there is no more pain, or regret, or conflict which follows, only the love of family.

  4. Mary was like a second mother to many of us growing up in Belmont, but being teenagers, we probably wanted to talk to her more than our own mothers. She was a beautiful and inspirational woman in our lives. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

  5. Frank, Gary, and Pat,

Just read of your mom's passing and wanted to let you know that you're in our thoughts. Losing your mom is one thing you don't ever quite get over. May your memories of her provide you comfort and, maybe, a smile or two (or more).

  6. I will remember my Grandma Pasquale as the woman who patiently tried to teach me how to crochet as a young girl (despite my being a slow learner!). She was proud of her Italian heritage and the aroma of her delicious pizzelles will always remind me of holidays spent at her home with the Pasquale side of my family. I am saddened that we had to let her go, but I know she is now at peace being reunited with my Uncle Mike and my grandfather. Sending thoughts of love to my mother, Patricia, as well and my Uncle Gary and Uncle Frank (and their respective families).

  9. My husband and I first met Mary through the Arc when we worked there with Michael. I can remember visiting with her in her kitchen in Belmont and discovering what a big-hearted, level headed, strong woman she was! The world is a lesser place for her joining Our Lord in heaven, for she surely was greated by all the angels and saints with cries of joy. Jerry and I hold the family especially in our prayers at this time. It is hard to no longer be able to visit with and talk to someone you loved so much.

  13. To all Mary's children and your families, I offer my condolences. Mary was a beautiful person and a loving mother and grandmother. She watched us all grow up and during our teenage years, we all knew we had two more sets of parental eyes on us, hers and Frank's. We also knew how much Mary cared for and about all of us throughout the years as we became parents and grandparents ourselves. May her beautiful soul continue to light the lives of all those who mourn her passing.

I am sure she is in Heaven and at peace with your dad and Mike.

  15. Frank, Gary and Patty,

My sincere sympathies for you and all of the Pasquale family. Caring comes to mind when I think of your Mother and I of course see her with Mike at her side. Now reunited with your father and Mike, I'm sure she is doing the very same. I think of Bob, when I think of the Franks Sugar Bowl and times of innocence growing up in Belmont .. Peace and prayers, as memories fill your thoughts of your wonderful Mother.

  16. Dear Frank, Gary and Pat,

Thinking of you all, and sending my love to you. Aunt Mary was an amazing woman. I will always cherish such great memories of her. Whether it was her infectious laugh, or her radiant smile, she was certainly so much larger than all of her 5 foot nothing! There was always such a sense of warmth when you were with her. I will always smile when I think of her amazing cooking, and the delicious aromas that came from the Pasquale kitchen. I will never forget her pizzelles and tables full, with favorite Italian cookies of the Holiday Season! When you were in the Pasquale home, you were family, no matter who you were. I just happened to be blessed to share the same last name. The world was a better place because of your Mom, and who she was. So strong and resilient, gentle and kind. She will be missed, but I hope you will find comfort and peace in the knowledge that she led a life well lived. Smile and rejoice, knowing that she is at peace and celebrating her joyful reunion with your Dad, Michael, David, and so many others she has waited to be with again. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy in you, her family, as well as all those she touched.

  21. Frank, Gary and Patti-

Your mom was was a surrogate mother for the majority of us growing up in Belmont especially in the 60's and 70's. People like her touch the lives of so many and remain there forever...what a wonderful thing to know that she loved and has been loved by so many. I extend my deepest sympathy to you all.
