Lt. Charles Anthony Raynor


Wellsville, NY - Lt. Charles Anthony Raynor, FDNY EMS # 188 (Ret.), 71, of 2369 Stannards Road passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born July 2, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Charles A. and Anna (Vatovec) Raynor. On June 10 1967 in Wellsville he married Beverly Starr who survives. 

"Charlie" attended Grover Cleveland High School in Middle Village. He was a veteran of the  U. S. Navy. He was first employed Bronckhorst Meat Packing Co., he later began his career with the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation; which became the New York City EMS and retired from the FDNY EMS. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Mary Ann Luce of St. Petersburg, FL, Charles Raynor II of Bartonsville, PA and Lawrence "Larry" (Patty) Raynor of Elmhurst, NY, one granddaughter, Rebecca Raynor, three grandsons, Kyle Raynor, Michael Maloney Jr. and Ian Luce, two aunts, Josie and Stephanie Hahn, two nieces, Keri and Dawn Raynor and six cousins. He was predeceased in addition to his parents by two brothers, Alan and Lawrence Raynor and one sister, Ann Irene Raynor.
