Logan M. Culver

Scio, NY - Logan M. Culver of Hampton, Virginia passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her parent's home in Scio. She was born on May 10, 1982 in Wellsville to King and Tamyra Blackman Black IV. On June 30, 2001 in Wellsville she married Matthew Culver who survives.

Logan was a 2001 graduate of Scio Central School. She became a dental assistant but due to her illness she was unable to practice. While in Virginia Logan was a member of the Warwick Assembly of God Church, the Breakthrough Worship praise Team and enjoyed singing. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and wife who spent all the time she could with her family.

Surviving besides her husband: 2 daughters, Haven and Haylie at home; her mother and father of Scio; 2 sisters, Corrie (Andre') Forcier' of Canandaigua and Erin (Benjamin) White of Scio; 2 grandmothers, Nancy Blackman of Wellsville and Patricia Black of Wellsville; great grandmother, Dorothy Stoll of Scio; her mother in law Marlene Bartoo of Scio; 1 niece and several nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville. Logan's Funeral will be held on Monday at 11 am in the Wellsville Bible Church on the Andover Road at 11am with Rev Daniel Kenyon presiding. Memorials may be made to either the SPCA of Allegany County or to Home Care and Hospice and her burial will take place in Stannards Cemetery.
