  2. Ed, you became the father I never had, and I miss you so much. I am glad you came into my life, and into the life of my son..I found this poem and thought of you:
For the loss of your Dad
    by C Cattaway

The sun will dance around his head, The moon will shine his name. His star will sparkle in the sky, His love will still remain.

The days will seem much longer, now, But only for a while, For, he will stay beside you, and Remind you how to smile.

He'll never be forgotten, and Now, he'll remember all. His hand will be inside your hand Whenever you should call.

It's true, it takes a special man, To ever be a Dad. And, his heart made him special; He'd not want you to be sad.

Each step you take, through every door, He''ll still be by your side. Don't say Goodbye, say Good Journey, And do not be afraid,

For, he will be there waiting, Loving you, just as before, And, his star will remind you He'll love you, for ever more.

  4. It is with tremendous sadness that I learned of Ed's passing yesterday.

I had the chance to reconnect briefly with Ed after many years this past summer, and it was as if only a day had passed: there was Ed, smile on his face and full of warm greetings.

That is how I knew him, and how I'll remember him. From my brother, sister and myself, our hearts and our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

  14. Well what can I say? We practically grew up together married at 18 and 19, 37 years in all. We were not together the last couple years and I never got over you leaving. Life just ended for me, I couldn't move on, you were part of me. You were my life, a wonderful father to our children and husband to me. Our family will never be the same. There are so many memories, we lived an interesting life to put it mildly. When we sang I was the perfect harmony to your melody. You always came through for us when we needed something. My heart will always be yours Schmoopy ha ha. I love you now and I always will. May we meet again. I'll be waiting.
