Beatrice Frances Paulman

Belmont, NY - Beatrice Frances Paulman, 96, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at South Lake Memorial Hospital in Clermont, Florida. She was born September 20, 1913 in Allegany, NY the daughter of the late Jacob and Frances (Barnick) Bucher. On July 7, 1945 in Bradford, PA she married Edward W. Paulman who predeceased her on January 5, 1990.

"Bea" was a long time resident of Belmont before moving to Clermont, Florida in 2007. She was 33 year employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture retired as a program assistant. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Church in Belmont and St. Mary's Altar Society. She was an avid bowler and was a league bowler at Community Lanes. Bea was a kind, generous and loving person who was always concerned for her family, friends and community. She will be greatly missed!

She is survived by four grandchildren, Lori (Hal) Lindsey of Ashburn, VA, Carol (Randy) Hayes of Titusville, FL, Sandra (Brian) Wells of Montverde, FL, and John (Liliana) Benjamin of Hawthorne, CA, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a brother, John (Rosemary) Bucher of Rochester, NY, a sister, Elizabeth Wilcox of Weston Mills and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in addition to her husband by a daughter, Elizabeth Benjamin, four brothers, Donald, Albert, Harold and James Bucher and two sisters, Mildred Bucher and Virginia McAuliffe.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., 17 Schuyler Street in Belmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (June 19, 2010) at 11:00 am in the Holy Family Church in Belmont with Rev. Jerome Dissek as celebrant.
