Alice A. Van Druff

Wellsville, NY - Alice A. "Peggy" Van Druff, 86, Niles Hill Road died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville with her family at her side. She was born June 13, 1924 in Wellsville the daughter of Peter and Lena (Johnson) Cole. On June 14, 1942 in Wellsville she married Albert F. Van Druff Sr. who predeceased her on September 29, 1999.

Peggy was a long time resident of Wellsville and formerly resided in Lilburn, Georgia for five years. While her husband was serving his country during WW II, she was employed by a U.S. Army Major. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and attended the Riverside Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by four sons, Albert Van Druff Jr. of California, Roger (Constance) Van Druff of Kenmore, DuWayne (Sun Ho) Van Druff of Las Vegas, NV and Dwight (Carol) Van Druff of Wellsville, two daughters, Nancy (Wayne) Kleinsteuber of Toronto, CA and Stephanie Van Druff of Wellsville, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one sister, Lucille (Bud) Hackett of Wellsville, one brother, Walter Cole Sr. of Wellsville and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Gerald Van Druff and Stephen "Fred" Van Druff, a sister, Phyllis Cole and a brother, Irwin Cole.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Assembly of God Church on Riverside Drive in Wellsville. The funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 pm in the church with Rev. Fred Francisco presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.   1. I did my rounds at the Manor this afternoon and as I passed Peg's old room I thought how much I will miss her smile. Lucile, you and your family are all in my prayers.
