  1. As the Chaplain at Wellville Manor I got to know Pete over the past few years and was amazed at his faith and trust in his Lord Jesus. Pete was a powerful prayer warrior and I could always find him faithfully praying his Rosary using Padre Pio"s meditations during the mercy hour between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. In fact so many people came to know of his faithfulness in prayer that they would request prayer for themselves and others. Recently he was praying for so many people that he would begin his Rosary in the mornings, taking time off only for lunch and dinner. He once told me that God took his legs so he could pray. Pete was an amazing brother in Christ and I have no doubt that he is with his beloved Lord today in Heaven. All who knew him were truly blessed.
